I’ve always had a fascination with books and writing, growing up I began reading novels by Darren Shan, truth caravan and Christopher Paolini losing myself in the world’s that they had created for days at a time.
As I’ve got older I’ve moved to a different style of work David Gemmell now holds a special place in my heart for the books he has written that show no one is beyond redemption and goodness and be found in even the darkest of places.
I’ve also had a deep love of mythology and stories particularly greek and Germanic stories and how they have shaped us as people. Part of this has led to an interest in dreams.
The ancient Egyptians for instance believed that dreams were what the gods used to talk to us and guide us in life.
The Greeks would further this by then proposing there are two types of dreams some insignificant caused by our day to day lives but others that are significant and these are what the ghosts of the dead and gods would talk to us from.
I’m hoping to use this platform to develop myself both as a writer and as a person.
